LED HIGH BAY

Replacing 400 W metal halide high bay or florescent tube lighting with Helos 150 watt or 200 watt led high bay will of course instantly reduce electricity consumption for your commercial, factory, warehouse or other facilities, but there additional benefits that are rarely mentioned.

LED high bays from Helos make absolutely no noise whatsoever, although in some workplaces the Helosient sound levels mask any sound the lighting may make.

Rugged

Standard metal halide and High pressure sodium lamps are thin glass balls filled with assorted gases and Mercury, breaking just one of these can cause untold mercury contamination. LED High bays are super rugged, the LED array is sealed off by a tough polycarbonate clouded lens that reduces glare and line-of-sight “Eye contact” with the LEDs during operation.

Helos  LED High bays are water tight, they can even be pressure washed or steam cleaned while operating!

Heat generation

Helos LED High bays still produce some heat, but nothing like their legacy counterparts. Some will claim they use the heat produced by these older lights but at ceiling height most of that heat is lost and adds to air conditioning costs when temperatures rise.
